How much does a Connecting Hearts adoption home study cost?
Application Fee
$100
Due with your initial application. Your application fee can be paid electronically via Venmo or Zelle, or you can send a check postal mail.
Domestic Home Study
$1,400
The home study fee is due the day prior to the visit to your home. Your home study fee can be paid electronically via Venmo or Zelle, or you can send a check postal mail.
Post Placement Visits
$300
Monthly visits are required after a child is placed in your home. The number of visits is determined by your placing entity. Fee is due at each post placement visit.
Home Study Update
$700
If it has been a year since your initial study was completed and you are yet to adopt, you will need to update your study in order to maintain your eligibility. This fee is due at the visit to your home.
